Meet The AOSCF Board

Tyshara "Shar" Lawson is a strategic program and project management leader with experience spanning technology, workforce development, organizational change, and nonprofit leadership. She is passionate about leveraging strategic leadership, collaboration, and community engagement to strengthen organizations and support community impact.

In addition to her professional career, Shar has served in leadership and governance roles across nonprofit, educational, and community organizations. Through her board service and volunteer leadership, she remains committed to advancing educational enrichment, health and wellness, and youth empowerment initiatives throughout the North Texas community.

Dr. R. Tikara Casey is an educator, health scientist, entrepreneur, and nonprofit leader dedicated to serving children and families throughout the greater Dallas-Fort Worth community. As the Founder and Executive Director of Simple Beginnings, Inc., she leads initiatives focused on nutrition education, workforce development, and family support services.

Dr. Casey is also the Owner and Program Director of Little Blossoms Academy, an award-winning early childhood education center committed to providing high-quality, accessible education and care. Through her professional and community leadership, she remains passionate about creating opportunities that empower and strengthen families across North Texas.

Denita K. Branch is a seasoned business and finance professional with nearly three decades of leadership experience at AT&T. She is deeply committed to faith, family, and community service and brings a passion for servant leadership to all that she does.

An active community and nonprofit leader, Denita has served in leadership roles within her church, employee resource groups, and nonprofit organizations focused on empowering individuals and strengthening communities. She has also dedicated many years to supporting youth and educational initiatives through volunteer leadership roles in local schools and community organizations.

Quiana Mitchell is a seasoned hospitality and project management professional with more than 15 years of leadership experience and a deep commitment to serving the greater Dallas community. She is passionate about building strong community partnerships, enhancing engagement, and creating meaningful civic impact.
 

Since 2017, Quiana has served in progressive leadership roles with the Junior League of Dallas, supporting community outreach, civic collaborations, and nonprofit initiatives throughout the region. She brings extensive experience in project management, nonprofit governance, and servant leadership, further strengthened through her participation in the Junior League's T. Boone Pickens Leadership Institute.

A dedicated community leader, Kim Shavers volunteers through the Junior League of Dallas, supporting educational and community initiatives, and serves as a Charter Board Member of an employee resource group focused on inclusion, leadership development, and employee engagement. She is passionate about leveraging service and leadership to create meaningful community impact.

Professionally, Kim serves as a Technology Risk Officer in the global financial services industry, with expertise in technology risk, governance, compliance, and enterprise risk management. She brings a strategic approach to leadership, governance, and organizational effectiveness.

Dr. Endia J. Lindo is a Professor of Special Education at Texas Christian University, where her work is dedicated to improving educational outcomes for students with disabilities and other historically underserved learners. Through her teaching, research, and professional service, she is committed to advancing educational opportunity, literacy, and equitable outcomes for children and families.

A dedicated leader and advocate, Dr. Lindo serves on multiple nonprofit and professional boards and is the founder of the Coalition Advancing Knowledge and Impact (CAKI). Through community partnerships, educator training initiatives, research, and advocacy, she works to strengthen educational access and outcomes at the local, national, and international levels.

Lori G. Mosby is a dedicated community leader and the Founding President of the Alpha Omicron Sigma Charitable Foundation. She remains committed to advancing opportunities that strengthen children, families, and communities through service, leadership, and philanthropy.
 

Beyond her work with the Foundation, Lori is a Life Member of the NAACP and an active member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church. She has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to service, faith, and community engagement.
